Last Minute Valentine’s Day Ideas for Work
Valentine’s Day 2023 is upon us and it’s on a weekday this year. Did you forget to put something together for your in-office team? Do you need some last minute Valentine’s Day ideas for work? We’ve got you covered. Here is a list of special somethings that can be deployed quicky to help boost team morale and make employees feel appreciated.
Heart Shaped Pizzas for lunch! Many chains and even local shops offer this – so your solution could be a phone call or internet order away! If you don’t see it on their online menu, call and ask – as they will likely be able to do it.
Cupcakes, Cookies, or Heart Shaped Cake. This one only requires a trip to a bakery or grocery store with baked goods. If you get lucky and find a heart shaped cake, take it to the counter and ask them to write a message on it like, “Happy Valentine’s Day, Team!”. PRO TIP: Crumbl Cookies has incredible offerings and they almost always have holiday themed items. If not, try their standard pink sugar cookies – they’re like a mini-cake for one person.
Candy Tasting Experience! Get a box of several kinds of boxed candy (Whitman’s Sampler, Ferro Rocher, Russell Stover and more) and allow people to binge on chocolates all day long. This one can be dressed up with some flowers, sparkling grape guice, and possibly some gourmet potato chips (for that sweet & salty effect).
An Hour Off Work. This is quick, easy and if it can be covered without strife at the company, the most appreicated gift of everything here. This allows the individual time to get ready for a romantic evening. For those not in a relationship or not able to connect with their partner, it’s time to hit the gym, take a walk, grab a nap, or even make a nice dinner.
Flowers for All. If none of these things are feasible, you could always hit the dollar store for some vases and the florist or grocery store for some loose flowers. Assemble a quick boquet and carry them in the office in a box. Your team is sure to appreciate the beauty and aroma you’ve provided.
